Wizkid shows respect for Prophet Odumeje known as Indaboski Bahose
On April 29, 2024, Wizkid went on his X account to interact with fans during a rare online appearance that stirred some controversy.
Among his various posts, Wizkid referred to a video featuring Flavour and Prophet Odumeje, also known as Indaboski Bahose, promoting their new collaboration ‘Powers’ as his “all-time favourite video.”
The video featured Prophet Odumeje, a celebrity clergy and musician, dressed in a shiny red two-piece outfit, confidently listing his numerous powers while Flavour encouraged him.
Wizkid’s expression of admiration for Indaboski prompted fans to share additional Odumeje videos, which he then responded to and shared again.
Nigerian rapper Odumodublvck posted a photo of himself on a video call with Indaboski, mentioning that he relayed Wizkid’s comments to the prophet. Wizkid responded to Odumodublvck’s post, requesting him to convey his greetings to the prophet.
Prophet Odumeje rose to internet fame due to viral videos of his preaching. Known for boasting about his powers, he had previously pledged to use some of these powers to assist Nigeria in addressing the decline in the value of the naira. He fulfilled this promise by releasing his latest single titled ‘Powers,’ featuring Flavour, in which he symbolically unleashed his abilities.
