‘Osuba’ crooner announces engagement to sweetheart
Gospel artist Peterson Okopi has announced on social media that he had proposed to his girlfriend Prudent Gabriel.
In celebration of his recent engagement, the gospel worshipper shared several photos on Instagram on July 1, 2024.
In the images that were uploaded, he could be seen waiting for Prudent to come in front of the floral arrangement of the “Will you marry me?” sign.
“IN THE BEGINNING… Happy New Month, Family,” was the caption he posted with the photos uploaded.
The romantic moment Prudent walked into the proposal and the emotional moments that followed were captured in the video that was uploaded to the singer’s YouTube channel. In the video, Peterson said that he felt his heart skip a beat the day he met her.
“The very first day I met Prudent, my heart leapt, and I called her Ohi, which means beauty, and for every day I have spent with her, I have gotten to see the beauty in life with God. We have always trusted in God to be the major factor in our relationship while we trust him for a beautiful future,” he confessed.
Peterson also shared his fiancée’s post on social media, in which she was seen beamingly displaying her brand-new engagement ring. She showered him with love in her caption.
“I Said Yes To The One That God Purposed Specially For Me. I love you so much, babe.” she wrote.
Peterson emphasised that his fiancée is all he has ever hoped for and listed his favourite qualities about her.
“Prudent has a heart for God and for people, and she is a giver, and I’ve always prayed to God to bless me with a giver, and the Lord presented me with Prudent. Prudent is a prayer answered; she is my friend, and she is everything.” he said
