Olamide leads as African rapper with highest streams on music platform

Award-winning rapper, Olamide, currently leads as the African artiste whose song has enjoyed more plays on Spotify.
Being one of Nigeria’s biggest artiste, for over a decade, the rapper has contributed to the commercial success of hip-hop and Afrobeats both inside and outside Nigeria.
The YBNL boss now holds the honour of having the most streams of any African rapper on Spotify.
He has garnered over 630 million streams on on the music platform which is a remarkable feat that captures his experience and distinction.
Olamide still holds the record for being the only Nigerian rapper and artiste to have won three consecutive Headies Album of the Year awards: YBNL (2012), Baddest Guy Ever Liveth (2013), and Street OT (2014).
