Jonzing World signee Gdzilla reveals reason behind masked face.
Gdzilla face mask has drawn the attention of the public after he was announced by Jonzing World label boss D’ Prince.
The mask is a replica of the fictional pre-historic Godzilla character from whom he also borrowed his stage name. Listeners found the mask intriguing. It instantly ticked off some fans and led to criticism on social media.
Gdzilla admitted in a recent interview that the mask was a publicity move intended to create awareness. He said he will take it off after the goal was achieved.
The rising talent who released his debut self-titled EP in 2023, is the third artist from the Jonzing World talent pipeline after Rema and Ruger who also had their unique branding.
