Come join Puma – Davido advices Kanye West after fall out with Adidas
Kanye West has taken it out on Adidas after claims the brand released fake Yeezys. Meanwhile, Davido has encouraged him to join rivals, Puma.
On February 26, 2024, Kanye posted a video on his Instagram handle revealing that the fashion brand has sued him for a whopping $250 million.
He posted, “Let me clearly explain to you guys what is going on with Adidas. Not only are they putting out fake shoes that are not approved, they are suing me for 250 million dollars and they are also not paying me for the shoes that they are putting out that have my name on them. They are also using contract clauses and 50 years of business experience to rape an artiste, one of your favourite artistes, in front of y’all, in broad daylight.”
West had previously, in a post, encouraged his fans to boycott the brand, and refrain from purchasing the shoes.
“Anybody who loves Ye would not buy these fake Yeezys I never made these colour ways I’m not getting paid off of them and Adidas is suing me. All the new non-approved 350’s are cooorny.”
The rapper’s fans, followers and fellow celebrities have rallied in support for him in his quest to boycott Adidas.
Davido, who is currently in a partnership with Adidas’ competitor Puma, also wrote, “Come to @puma YE.”
