Bobrisky sentence to six months in jail.
The Judge in charge of Bobrisky’s case Justice Abimbola Awogboro of the Federal High Court in Lagos has now sentenced him to six months in jail with no option of fine.
The judgement was pronounced on Friday morning, April 12.
On April 5th, EFCC brought charges against Bobrisky on a six-count charge ranging from Abuse of the Naira and Money Laundering.
However, the court dismissed the money laundering charges but convicted him of Naira Abuse after he confessed to the crime.
The judge adjourned the hearing for judgment for the case to April 9. And was ordered that he be detained in EFCC detention in Lagos.
Meanwhile, the court postponed the hearing from April 9 to April 11 because of Eid- Fitri Public holidays.
