BBNaija S9 premieres with 14 pairs of 28 housemates
Reality TV show, Big Brother Naija has returned on Sunday with its ninth season, themed “Dynamic Duo.”
The new season is slated to provide ten weeks of suspenseful entertainment mixed with surprising turns.
On Sunday, a thrilling live show that introduced the audience to the housemates made the opening night of the show nothing short of extraordinary.
As part of the season’s unique concept, contestants entered in pairs, beginning with Zion and Chinwe, also known as Zinwe.
They were followed by another pair of friends, Michky and Fairme David, also known as the Radicals and also DJ Flo and Ruthee, also known as Flourish.
The fourth couple—a niece and her aunt, Chinne and Nne, who went as Ndi Nne—also gained entry to the home.
Colleagues Topher and Sooj, also referred to as Aces, and close friends Shaun and Victoria, also known as Shatoria, added to the excitement.
The enthusiasm in the house was further increased with the arrival of well-known female DJs Wanni and Handi. The second set of twins to enter the house were Tjay and Ben, also referred to as Beta.
In addition, friends Damilola and Toyosi, nicknamed Tami; Anita and Nelly, aka Nelita; Ocee and Ozee, aka Mbadiwe twins; Toby Forge and Mayor Frosh, aka Streeze; married couple Kassia and Kellyrae, called Double Kay, and sisters Chizoba and Onyeka, aka Chekas, were in the lineup.
Afrobeat singer Niniola Apata gave a fantastic performance that further enhanced the lively mood.
The Big Brother Naija house is poised for drama, alliances, and unforgettable moments as housemates compete for a grand prize of N100 million, which includes N65 million in cash along with other alluring goodies.
