Anikulapo: ‘Rise of the Spectre’ debutes in March, official trailer released today
Anikulapo, the Yoruba language series will start streaming on March 1, 2024.
Netflix has released the official trailer for the movie masterminded by Kunle Afolayan. Rise of the Spectre is a continuation of the initial hit movie, Anikulapo.
The video was released today Tuesday, January 30, 2024, and, it gives a teaser into what to expect in the upcoming epic series.
The series picks up the event from where the movie left off, following the life of Saro and his wife.
Akala, the mysterious bird which resurrected Saro (Kunle Remi) in the first production, is also back but not as friendly as the people would have liked. The four-part series will explore the themes of revenge, fight for ultimate power and betrayal.
The cast includes Adebayo Salami, Layi Wasabi, Moji Afolayan, Aisha Lawal, Ronke Oshodi, Jide Kosoko, Adeniyi Johnson and Funky Mallam.
