Tems performs her new album on stage
Nigerian Singer Tems performs songs from her soon-to-be debut album “Born In The Wild” in her recent appearance on the Tiny Desk stage.
Tems began her performance, backed by a live band, with a performance of her hit “Me & U,” which was nominated for a 2024 BET Award for Best Gospel/Inspiration song. Also, she performed “Ice T” from her debut EP “For Broken Ears”.
She also performed the unreleased R&B song “Unfortunate,” which is taken from her upcoming debut album “Born In The Wild.” Then, Tems performed a rendition of her most recent single, “Love Me, Jeje”.
Meanwhile, this is Tems’ second appearance at the Tiny Desk after performing there in 2022.
Her debut album ‘Born In The Wild’ is set to be released on June 7, 2024. The album has 18 tracks with guest appearances from Nigerian Grammy-nominated superstar Asake and American hip-hop star J Cole.
