Nollywood actress announces her debut movie ‘Queen Lateefah’ release in Cinema

Nollywood actress and director Wumi Toriola has announced that her movie, Queen Lateefah, which stars Broda Shaggi, a two-time AMVCA Award winner, will be her debut release in theatres.
On Wednesday, May 15, 2024, the actress—who is also an executive producer—announced the project on her Instagram page.
She wrote, “Unveiling the brilliant minds and hearts that breathe life into #QUEENLATEEFAH
“Together we embark on a collective journey of artistry and emotion, getting set to ignite the big screen with our shared emotion and creativity.
Adeoluwa Owu, also known as Captain Degzy, is the director of Queen Lateefah. He also directed A Tribe Called Judah, the highest-grossing Nollywood movie ever, in 2023, earning a staggering ₦1.4 billion in total revenue.
Starring in the movie with Kunle Remi are Femi Adebayo, Nancy Isime, Bimbo Manuel, Enioluwa, Elvina Ibru, and Gbugbemi Ejeye.
However, the movie’s plot and release date are yet unknown. But Wumi Toriola Productions and Captain of the Sea Productions will be collaborating on the upcoming movie.
