“Stop pitting me against my friends for entertainment” – retorted BNXN
The popular Nigerian singer BNXN has responded to the recent online comparisons made by influencers between him and Ayra Starr over who can sing better.
On May 13, 2024, BNXN said in a tweet on his official X account that people should stop putting him against him and his friends for entertainment.
“Stop pitting me against my friends for entertainment” he tweeted.
Since making his breakthrough into the entertainment scene, BNXN, one of the most distinct voices in Nigerian mainstream pop music has only become better.
The fact that BNXN decided to address the comparisons to Ayra Starr over who had a better voice shows that the hitmaker hopes to prevent a recurrence of the dispute with Ruger, in which the two musicians became embroiled after being set against one another by fans on social media.
Following their highly published dispute, BNXN and Ruger would later patch things up. They recently dropped a collaborative EP called “RnB” with the hits “Romeo Must Die” and “Ilashe.”
Meanwhile, Ayra Starr has not been disturbed by comparisons that have been made online as she is busy preparing for the release of her sophomore album which is anticipated to be out in May 2024.
