‘Jenifa’s Dairy’ actress Aderounmu Adejumoke passes away at 37
Nigerian Actress, Aderounmu Adejumoke, who became popular following her role as Esther in Jenifa’s Dairy- the Funke Akindele movie series has been confirmed dead by Seun Oloketuyi.
Nigerian Filmmaker, Seun Oloketuyi made the news known on his Instagram today, Monday, April 8, 2024. She died at the age of 37 years old.
“A family member of former star of hit series Jenifa’s Diary Jumoke Aderonmu has tweeted that the budding Actress is dead. Details are still sketchy. May she find peace with her maker,” his Instagram post said.
Aderonke began her acting career professionally in 2008; in the *Tunde Kelani* film *Arugba* in which she played Princess Mobandele alongside Bukky Wright, Bukola Awoyemi, and Segun Adefila.
The news was met with shock and sadness by people in the industry and also fans.
Actress Funke Akindele said, “Sad!!!! @jideawobona I still asked about her. Omg. May her soul rest in peace.”
