Fireboy speaks on his anticipated next Album

Nigerian music star Fireboy is one of nigerian Afrobeats acts who witnessed the 66th Grammy Awards held in Los Angeles on February 5, 2024.

While at the Grammys red carpet, Fireboy was interviewed by Rollingstone and there, he talked about the growth of the Nigerian music industry and his upcoming album.

“It’s surreal. This is what we have been working for. It feels good to be recognized by institutions like this because it only emphasizes how hard we have worked and how far we have come.” Fireboy said touching on the nominations of Davido, Burna Boy, Asake & Olamide, and Ayra Starr at the 66th Grammy Awards.

While speaking on his upcoming album, Fireboy said he is including finishing touches in Los Angeles and it will drop later in 2024.

This album makes it his fouth. His last album ‘Playboy’ was released in 2022.
