Tyla wins category featuring Asake, Burna Boy, Ayra Starr, Davido at the Grammys
A south African pop star, Tyla, has become the first winner of the Best African Music Performance category at the 66th edition of the Grammys Awards.
The category was first introduced alongside two others at the just concluded epic event.
Asake, Burna Boy, Davido and Ayra Star were Nigerian nominees in this category.
However, the South African music sensation Tyla has made history, on Sunday February 4, 2024, by winning the maiden edition of the Best African Music Performance at the 66th Grammy Awards.
